We are now in partnership with MDCI (Mark Dearing Consulting, Inc) to provide a researched based character education program for the kids program. The twelve week program will be focused on a dual component: self-defense and virtues intensive program of study for the participants. Our goal is to bring to the kids the Samurai philosophy as well as give them a tool to become a good citizens!
The virtues of: respect, responsibility, gratitude, veracity, courage, wisdom, compassion, humility, hard work, honesty will be studied and group presentations are one of several requirements of program participants.
In addition, realistic self-defense techniques will be taught as a partner to current BJJ curriculum.
